Job summary

Tractor Supply Company seeks an Inventory Control Specialist to support store operations through inventory control, receiving accuracy, and compliance routines. The role covers receiving, inventory adjustments, reconciliations, transfers, buyback/RTV, and reporting while partnering with the Store Operations Manager to ensure Legendary Customer Service.

The position requires flexibility in scheduling, basic computer and math skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Shipping/receiving experience preferred but not required.
• Retail experience and/or farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding knowledge is strongly preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age or older and possess a valid driver’s license.
• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred, but not required; reading, writing, and counting ability required.
• Basic computer skills and basic math skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to resolve issues ethically.
• Ability to travel as required in support of district needs.

Responsibilities

• Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
• Work scheduled shifts, varying hours including nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.
• Deliver Legendary Customer Service through GURA: Greet, Uncover Needs, Recommend Solutions, Add Value.
• Deliver Legendary Service and reinforce Leading with Legendary behaviors through customer engagement and coaching.
• Complete forklift and propane inspections and key propane use as required.
• Pull OMNI orders in the morning and support BOPIS/OMNI reconciliation routines.
• Receive Direct POs, freight, transfers, and complete related receiving tasks.
• Stock and tag freight and direct vendor merchandise according to standards.
• Create Fill to Capacity picklists for the Freight Team.
• Review and act on inventory discrepancies, Negative On Hand reports, and various reviews.
