Job summary

AeroVironment, Inc. is seeking a Material Control Operator II to maintain optimal inventory levels and support production. You will track, reconcile, and report on stock in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

The role involves collaboration with procurement, production, and warehouse teams, with responsibilities that may include packing, shipping, and domestic or international logistics as needed. A strong eye for detail and proficiency with ERP/MRP systems are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–2 years in stockroom/inventory or equivalent experience.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• Foundational knowledge of inventory management and warehouse operations.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Experience with MRP/ERP systems for inventory tracking and control.
• Demonstrated computer skills and ability to use office software or inventory control systems.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor inventory levels to ensure materials meet production needs.
• Receive, count, and record stock items in the computerized system.
• Pack/unpack items for shelf stockage in an orderly manner.
• Conduct cycle counts and physical inventories to reconcile stock.
• Investigate and resolve inventory variances with procurement, warehouse, and production teams.
• Distribute materials to customers or coworkers based on requisitions.
