Job summary

AeroVironment, Inc. is hiring a Material Control Specialist II to maintain optimal inventory levels and support production efficiency.

You will track, analyze, and reconcile inventory records, ensuring accuracy and availability across procurement, production, and warehouse teams. The role requires 1–2 years of inventory experience, proficiency with MS Office and ERP/MRP systems, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–2 years of stockroom or inventory experience
• Foundational knowledge of inventory management principles
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Experience with MRP/ERP inventory systems
• Valid driver’s license with clean record

Responsibilities

• Monitors inventory levels to meet production and operational needs
• Receives, counts, and records stock items in the system
• Counts cycles and conducts physical inventories to reconcile discrepancies
• Distributes materials to customers or coworkers based on requisitions
• Maintains accurate ERP/MRP inventory data and supports shipping/packaging as needed
• Collaborates with procurement, warehouse, and production teams to expedite critical materials
• Assists in implementing inventory control policies and process improvements
• Performs other duties as assigned
