Job summary

AeroVironment is seeking a Material Control Specialist II to manage stock levels and ensure inventory accuracy in the stockroom. You will track, count, and reconcile items, collaborating with procurement, warehouse, and production teams to optimize flow and reduce discrepancies.

Responsibilities include cycle counts, data integrity in ERP/MRP, and occasionally packaging and shipping. Strong attention to detail and analytical skills are essential for success in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• 1–3 years of stockroom/inventory experience or equivalent.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Experience with MRP/ERP systems for inventory tracking and control.
• A valid driver’s license and clean driving record required.

Responsibilities

• Monitors inventory levels to meet production and operational needs.
• Receives, counts, and records stock items in the system.
• Packs/unpacks items for stocking on shelves in stockroom.
• Conducts cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
• Investigates and resolves inventory variances with cross-functional teams.
• Issues materials based on requisitions and maintains ERP/MRP data.
• Supports shipping/packaging for domestic and international shipments.
