Job summary

AeroVironment, Inc. is seeking a Material Control Specialist III to maintain optimal inventory levels, analyze records, and support production efficiency. You will collaborate with procurement, production, and warehouse teams to minimize discrepancies and ensure availability of materials.

The role involves cycle counts, data entry in ERP/MRP systems, and potential domestic/international packaging and shipping tasks as needed. Training travel to Simi Valley, CA is required.

Qualifications

• Foundational knowledge of inventory management principles and warehouse operations.
• Experience with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Proficiency using ERP/MRP systems for inventory tracking and control.

Responsibilities

• Monitors inventory levels and ensures materials are available to meet production and operational needs.
• Receives and counts stock items and records data using computerized system.
• Performs cycle counts and physical inventory audits to reconcile stock discrepancies.
• Investigates variances and collaborates with procurement, warehouse, and production teams.
• Distributes materials to customers or coworkers based on incoming requisitions.
• Maintains accuracy of inventory records in the ERP/MRP system.
