Job summary

Tractor Supply Company in Jackson, MS seeks an Inventory Control Specialist to manage inventory control, receiving accuracy, and compliance routines supporting store operations. The role handles receiving, adjustments, reconciliations, transfers, buybacks, RTVs, and reporting while partnering with the Store Operations Manager.

The position requires flexibility in shifts, a strong service orientation, and ability to operate forklift and related equipment.

Qualifications

Shipping/receiving experience preferred but not required.
Retail experience and/or farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding knowledge is strongly preferred.
Must be 18 years of age or older and possess a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
Work scheduled shifts, and have the ability to work varied hours, days, nights, weekends, and overtime as dictated by business needs.
Greet customers and identify their needs to recommend product solutions.
Deliver Legendary Service and coach team members to uphold company standards.
Complete forklift and propane inspections and handle propane use as required.
Pull OMNI orders in the morning and support BOPIS/OMNI reconciliation routines.
Receive Direct POs and various freight transfers; stage items for loading and distribution.
Stock and tag direct vendor freight and DC freight according to standards.
Create picklists for the Freight Team and process daily adjustments and reconciliations.
