Job summary

Tractor Supply Company is seeking an Inventory Control Specialist dedicated to inventory control, receiving accuracy, and compliance routines that support store operations. You will handle receiving, adjustments, reconciliation, transfers, buybacks/RTV, and reporting while partnering with the Store Operations Manager.

Qualifications

• Shipping/receiving experience preferred but not required.
• Retail experience and/or farming knowledge strongly preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age or older and possess a valid driver’s license.
• Read, write, and count accurately.

Responsibilities

• Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
• Work varied hours, including nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.
• Provide Legendary Customer Service through GURA steps (Greet, Uncover, Recommend, Add value).
• Deliver Legendary Service and lead by example.
• Perform forklift and propane inspections and related duties.
• Pull OMNI orders and support BOPIS/OMNI reconciliation.
• Complete BOPIS and other reconciliation reports per standards.
• Receive Direct POs and various freight transfers; manage truck unloads.
• Stock and tag freight and leather footwear per process.
• Create fill-to-capacity picklists for Freight Team.
• Record and correct inventory adjustments per process and direction.
• Review Negative On Hand, buybacks, RTVs; act on tasks.
• Generate daily defectives and submit reports to the Store Ops Manager.
• Adhere to safety programs and inventory control procedures.
• Operate forklift, baler, cash register and related equipment.
• Complete all documentation accurately and timely.
• Possess required licenses or certifications as needed.
