Job summary

Floor & Decor Holdings Inc. is seeking an Inventory Control Specialist at our Portland, ME store. The role focuses on accuracy of stock levels, cycle counts, and preventing shrink while maintaining excellent service standards.

You will work with the store team to review receiving documents, reconcile discrepancies in the inventory system, run POS analysis, and generate reports. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and strong organizational skills are required.

Qualifications

• One year of inventory control experience in a retail environment or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Demonstrated POS analysis and reporting experience.
• Business analysis experience is a plus.
• Intermediate computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite.
• Must be detail-oriented and highly organized.
• Must possess excellent customer service skills and work well under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Follow cycle count and category review calendar and audit in inventory system as needed.
• Review shipping and receiving documents for accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
• Audit and ensure correct tagging/SKUing; report issues to managers.
• Audit trading-related processes per SOPs and report findings monthly.
• Document findings and submit reports to Operations Manager; archive monthly.
• Check a minimum of 10 customer receipts daily and note discrepancies.
