Job summary

Floor & Decor is seeking an Inventory Control Associate to ensure inventory accuracy and integrity across the store. You will perform cycle counts, review discrepancies, and coordinate with operations to maintain precise stock levels.

The role requires at least one year in inventory control within a big-box retail setting, strong POS analysis skills, and proficiency with MS Office. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and deliver excellent customer service is essential.

Qualifications

• One year of inventory control experience in a big-box retail setting.
• Experience with POS analysis and reporting.
• Business analysis experience is a plus.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Detail-oriented and highly organized.
• Excellent customer service and able to work under pressure.
• Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate understanding and compliance with safe lifting SOPs.
• Follow the daily cycle count and category review calendar.
• Research inventory discrepancies and adjust in the inventory system.
• Review shipping/receiving documents for accuracy.
• Notify managers of tagging/SKU discrepancies.
• Audit the BFR daily per SOP.
• Audit incoming/outgoing trucks for accuracy.
• Audit the SOR and SRR processes per SOP.
• Audit RTVs to ensure proper processing.
• Ensure facility security by reporting issues to management.
• Audit customer merchandise storage weekly and resolve issues with CEM/Operations Manager.
• Assist Operations Manager during physical inventories.
• Ensure 'Sample' tape is applied to wood boxes written off to 'Sam'.
• Run monthly OSDR reports and document findings for review.
