Job summary

Tractor Supply Company is seeking an Inventory Control Specialist to oversee inventory control, receiving accuracy, and compliance routines that support store operations. The role collaborates with the Store Operations Manager to ensure accurate receiving, adjustments, and reporting.

We value flexibility and reliability as you manage forklift operations, BOPIS/OMNI reconciliation, and monthly/weekly inventory tasks.

Qualifications

• Shipping/receiving experience preferred but not required.
• Retail experience and/or farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding knowledge is strongly preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age or older and possess a valid driver’s license.
• Reading, writing, and counting accuracy expected.

Responsibilities

• Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
• Work scheduled shifts, and have the ability to work varied hours, days, nights, weekends, and overtime as dictated by business needs.
• Deliver on our promise of Legendary Customer Service through GURA: Greet the Customer, Uncover Customer’s Needs & Wants, Recommend Product Solutions, Ask to Add Value & Appreciate the Customer.
• Deliver Legendary Service and reinforce Leading with Legendary behaviors through Customer engagement, Team Member coaching, and accountability for execution.
• Complete forklift and propane inspections and key propane use as required.
• Pull OMNI orders in the morning and support BOPIS/OMNI reconciliation routines.
• Receive Direct POs, Mixing Center freight, Bulk Center freight, and DC receiving transfers.
• Stock and tag direct vendor freight, front/sidelot DC freight, and leather footwear according to process standards.
