Job summary

Floor & Decor Holdings Inc. is seeking an Inventory Control Associate to ensure accuracy and integrity of the store's inventory.

The role includes daily cycle counts, discrepancy investigations, and cross-functional collaboration to maintain precise stock levels. Ideal candidates will have one year of inventory control experience in a large retail environment, strong POS reporting skills, and proficiency with MS Office.

Qualifications

• One year of inventory control experience in a big box retail setting or equivalent.
• Demonstrated point of sale analysis and reporting experience.
• Business analysis experience is a plus.
• Intermediate computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite.
• Must be detail-oriented and highly organized.
• Must possess excellent customer service skills and work well under pressure.
• Ability to multi-task, meet deadlines, and work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Follow safe lifting practices and SOPs.
• Perform daily cycle counts and category reviews.
• Research inventory discrepancies and adjust in the system.
• Review shipping/receiving documents for accuracy.
• Notify management of tagging/SKU discrepancies.
• Audit key inventory processes monthly and for Voids/Voids.
• Audit incoming/outgoing trucks and Return of Sale processes.
• Ensure security of the facility and resolve issues with CEM/Operations Manager.
• Document findings and archive monthly reports in the cycle count drawer.
• Check a minimum of 10 customer receipts daily for accuracy.
• Communicate discrepancies to Store Management and propose corrective actions.
