Job summary

Floor & Decor is seeking an Inventory Control Associate to ensure accuracy and integrity of store inventory. The role requires cycle counts, discrepancy research, and close collaboration with store management.

You will audit receiving/returns processes and support physical inventories while maintaining rigorous documentation and security standards. The ideal candidate has inventory control experience, strong data analysis, and excellent customer service skills in a busy retail setting.

Qualifications

• One year of inventory control experience in a big box retail environment or equivalent.
• Demonstrated POS analysis and reporting experience.
• Business analysis experience is a plus.
• Intermediate computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite.
• Must be detail-oriented and highly organized.
• Must possess excellent customer service skills and work well under pressure.
• Ability to multi-task, meet deadlines, and work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Follow the daily cycle count and category review calendar.
• Research inventory discrepancies and adjust in the system.
• Review shipping and receiving documents for accuracy.
• Notify managers of discrepancies in tagging or SKUing.
• Audit various inventory processes and reports monthly.
• Ensure security of the facility and address issues with management.
• Assist during physical inventory periods.
• Maintain cycle count paperwork per SOP and follow up on changes.
