Job summary

Floor & Decor is seeking an Inventory Control Associate to manage daily counts in the warehouse, reconcile variances, and ensure accurate data in the WMS. You will handle salvaged and damaged goods, support quality control on receipts and shipments, and collaborate with departments to maintain inventory integrity.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, 2 years of inventory or receiving experience, and proficiency with MS Excel.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; Associate’s degree preferred.
• Two years of inventory control, shipping, or receiving experience.
• Must be self-starter with excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to perform basic math operations.
• Attention to detail; able to work independently and read/write English fluently.
• Strong computer skills; proficient with MS Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and oversee inventory control functions with high accuracy.
• Develop and control inventory processes to meet financial and operational needs.
• Resolve issues impacting customer service, operations, and finance.
• Develop SOPs and implement inventory improvement processes.
• Lead accurate placement of inventory in picking locations and resolve issues.
• Resolve quality control issues with damaged or poor condition items.
• Provide exceptional customer service.
