Job summary

Floor & Decor in Fort Worth is seeking an Inventory Control Associate to ensure accuracy and integrity of the store’s inventory. The role is offered as Full-Time or Part-Time, with starting pay and experience-based increases.

The position requires inventory control experience, POS analysis, and strong organizational skills, plus the ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment. A positive customer-service mindset is essential for daily operations and stock integrity.

Qualifications

• One year of inventory control experience in a big box retail environment.
• Demonstrated point of sale analysis and reporting experience.
• Business analysis experience is a plus.
• Intermediate computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite.
• Must be detail-oriented and highly organized.
• Must possess excellent customer service skills and work well under pressure.
• Ability to multi-task, meet deadlines, and work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Follow daily cycle count and category review calendar.
• Research inventory discrepancies and adjust in the inventory system.
• Review shipping and receiving documents for accuracy.
• Address tagging or SKU discrepancies with department managers.
• Audit the BFR daily per SOP.
• Audit incoming/outgoing trucks and RTV processes per SOP.
• Audit the SRR process and Returns SOP for Voids/Partial voids.
• Audit RTVs to ensure proper processing.
• Ensure facility security and report issues to management.
• Review customer merchandise storage weekly and resolve issues with CEM/Operations Manager.
• Assist Operations Manager during physical inventory periods.
• Ensure labeling and sample tape accuracy for items written off.
