Job summary

Floor & Decor Holdings Inc. is seeking an Inventory Control Associate in Fairfield, CT. The role ensures accuracy and integrity of the store’s inventory with daily cycle counts, discrepancy research, and shipping/receiving document review.

You will audit multiple processes, maintain SOPs, and assist the Operations Manager during physical inventory periods while delivering strong customer service in a fast-paced retail setting.

Qualifications

• One year of inventory control experience in a big box retail environment or equivalent.
• Demonstrated point of sale analysis and reporting experience.
• Business analysis experience is a plus.
• Intermediate computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite.
• Must be detail-oriented and highly organized.
• Excellent customer service skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Ability to multi-task, meet deadlines, and work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Follow the daily cycle count and category review calendar.
• Research inventory discrepancies and adjust in the inventory system.
• Review shipping and receiving documents for accuracy.
• Notify managers of discrepancies in tagging or SKUing merchandise.
• Audit various inventory-related processes and ensure SOP compliance.
• Assist Operations Manager during physical inventory periods.
• Maintain cycle count paperwork per SOP and ensure changes are implemented.
