Job summary

AeroVironment is seeking a Material Control Specialist III to maintain optimal inventory levels supporting production and operations. You will track, analyze, and reconcile inventory records, collaborating with procurement, production, and warehouse teams to optimize flow and minimize discrepancies.

The role requires 2–4 years in stockroom/inventory, proficiency with ERP/MRP systems and MS Office, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED.
• 2–4 years of stockroom/inventory experience.
• Proficiency with MS Office and ERP/MRP systems.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor inventory levels and ensure materials are available to meet production and operational needs.
• Receive and count stock items and record data in the computerized system.
• Pack and unpack items for stocking in the stockroom.
• Conduct cycle counts and physical inventories to reconcile stock.
• Investigate and resolve inventory variances with cross-functional teams.
• Distribute materials to customers or coworkers from requisitions.
• Maintain accurate inventory records in the ERP/MRP system.
• Assist with packaging and shipping as needed (domestic and international).
• Track incoming shipments with suppliers and expedite critical materials when necessary.
• Assist in implementing inventory control policies and process improvements.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors or inventory managers.
