Job summary

Albertsons Companies Inc. is seeking a Receiver / Inventory Control Clerk (ICC) to oversee Direct Store Delivery operations, ensuring accurate receiving, counting, and stocking of merchandise.

You will walk the store daily to scan DSD items, identify stock issues, and partner with order writers, night crew, merchandisers, and the File Maintenance Clerk. Collaboration with the Store Director supports inventory accuracy and promotional execution.

Qualifications

• Experience receiving, tracking, and reconciling inventory in retail or grocery.
• Proficient with basic computer tasks, email, Excel, and store portals.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Direct Store Delivery (DSD) operations and ensure inventory is received and stocked correctly.
• Walk store daily to scan DSD items and identify out-of-stock or overstock conditions.
• Collaborate with order writers, night crew, merchandisers, and File Maintenance Clerk.
• Communicate with the Store Director to support inventory accuracy and promotional execution.
• Monitor donations and manage grocery and non-perishable inventories.
• Maintain a secure, clean backroom and organize receiving areas.
