Job summary

Albertsons Companies is seeking an Inventory Control Manager to oversee Direct Store Delivery (DSD) operations, ensuring items are received, counted, stocked, and accurately reconciled.

You will walk the store daily, identify out-of-stock or overstock situations, coordinate with order writers, night crew, merchandisers, and the File Maintenance Clerk, and support the Store Director on inventory accuracy and promotions.

Qualifications

• Experience with receiving, tracking and reconciling inventory in retail or grocery.
• Basic computer skills including email, Excel, store portals or inventory systems.
• Ability to monitor damaged, expired, or salvageable merchandise and process returns for credit.

Responsibilities

• Oversee DSD operations to ensure accurate receiving and stocking.
• Walk the store daily to identify stock issues and coordinate with teams.
• Monitor inventory accuracy and support promotional execution.
• Maintain backroom cleanliness, security, and organization.
• Communicate with Store Director and vendors to resolve discrepancies.
