Job summary

Albertsons Companies Inc. in Annandale, VA seeks a Receiver / Inventory Control Clerk (ICC) to oversee DSD receiving, stock accuracy, and backroom organization.

You will walk the store floor to scan items, flag shortages or overages, and collaborate with vendors, night crew, merchandisers, and management to ensure inventory integrity and promotable stock. You will monitor donations, manage grocery and non-perishable inventories, and maintain a secure, clean backroom while delivering reliable

Qualifications

• Experience receiving, tracking and reconciling inventory in retail/grocery.
• Basic computer skills including email and Excel.
• Ability to monitor damaged/expired items and processing returns for credit.

Responsibilities

• Walk the store floor daily to scan DSD items and verify stock.
• Identify out-of-stock or overstock conditions and escalate as needed.
• Coordinate with order writers, night crew, merchandisers and backroom staff.
• Maintain secure, clean, and organized backroom and receiving areas.
• Support inventory accuracy and promotional execution with Store Director.
