Albertsons Companies Inc. is seeking a Receiver / Inventory Control Clerk (ICC) in a retail setting to oversee Direct Store Delivery (DSD) operations and ensure accurate receiving, stocking, and inventory control.

You will walk the store daily to scan items, identify shortages or overages, and work with store teams to maintain promotional readiness. Ideal candidates can manage donations, maintain backroom cleanliness, and use basic computer tools like Excel and store portals.

Qualifications

• Experience receiving, tracking, and reconciling inventory in retail or grocery environments.
• Basic computer skills including email and store portals/inventory systems.
• Ability to monitor damaged, expired, or salvageable merchandise and process returns for credit.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Direct Store Delivery (DSD) operations and ensure merchandise is received and stocked.
• Walk the store to scan DSD items and identify out-of-stock or overstock conditions.
• Coordinate with order writers, night crew, merchandisers and the File Maintenance Clerk.
• Communicate with the Store Director to support inventory accuracy and promotional execution.
• Monitor donations and manage grocery and non-perishable inventories; maintain a secure backroom.
