Job summary

Tractor Supply Company is seeking an Inventory Control Specialist to manage receiving accuracy, inventory adjustments, reconciliations, transfers, buybacks/RTV, and compliance to support store operations. The role collaborates with the Store Operations Manager to ensure adherence to processes and safety.

Qualifications include 18+ years old with a valid driver’s license and a high school diploma or equivalent. Experience in shipping/receiving and retail is preferred; a forklift may be needed.

Qualifications

• Shipping/receiving experience preferred but not required.
• Retail experience or farming knowledge strongly preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age or older and possess a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
• Work scheduled shifts, and varied hours, days, nights, weekends, and overtime.
• Deliver Legendary Customer Service through GURA: Greet, Uncover Needs, Recommend Solutions, Add Value.
• Deliver Legendary Service and reinforce Leading with Legendary behaviors.
• Complete forklift and propane inspections and use as required.
• Pull OMNI orders in the morning and support BOPIS/OMNI reconciliation routines.
• Complete BOPIS Reconciliation Report and related processes.
• Receive Direct POs and freight transfers; manage loading and staging.
• Stock and tag freight according to standards; create fill to capacity picklists.
• Key inventory adjustments and reconcile discrepancies as directed.
• Review negative on-hand reports and follow up accordingly.
• Review and execute buybacks and RTV processes.
• Partner with Store Operations Manager on inventory control and compliance.
