Job summary

Tractor Supply Company is seeking an Inventory Control Specialist to support store operations with inventory control, receiving accuracy, and compliance routines. The role includes handling receiving, inventory adjustments, reconciliations, transfers, and related reporting while coordinating with the Store Operations Manager.

Ideal candidates may have shipping/receiving experience, retail or farming knowledge, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Experience in shipping/receiving preferred but not required.
• Retail or farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding knowledge is strongly preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age or older and have a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
• Work varied hours including nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.
• Deliver Legendary Customer Service through GURA in store interactions.
• Complete forklift and propane inspections and key propane use as required.
• Pull OMNI orders in the morning and support BOPIS/OMNI reconciliation.
• Receive Direct POs and DC freight, execute truck unloads, and stage freight.
• Stock and tag direct vendor freight and prepare fill to capacity picklists.
• Investigate inventory discrepancies and perform required follow-up.
• Partner with Store Operations Manager on inventory control and compliance.
