Job summary

Tractor Supply Company is seeking an Inventory Control Specialist to manage inventory control, receiving accuracy, and compliance routines to support store operations. The role covers receiving, adjustments, reconciliation, transfers, buybacks/RTV, compliance, and reporting while partnering with the Store Operations Manager.

The position emphasizes flexible, customer-focused service, forklift operation, and adherence to safety and process standards to maintain efficient store operations.

Qualifications

• Shipping/receiving experience preferred but not required.
• Retail or farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding knowledge is strongly preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age or older and possess a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
• Work scheduled shifts and varied hours, including nights, weekends, and overtime.
• Deliver Legendary Customer Service through GURA: Greet, Uncover needs, Recommend solutions, Add value.
• Complete forklift and propane inspections and use as required.
• Pull OMNI orders in the morning and support BOPIS/OMNI reconciliation.
• Receive Direct POs and DC freight; complete transfers and loading plans.
• Stock and tag freight per process standards; create fill to capacity picklists.
• Key inventory adjustments and correct discrepancies per store directions.
• Review reports and complete required follow-up on variances.
