Job summary

Fuze Health is seeking an Inventory Control Manager to lead pharmacy inventory programs, drive data-driven improvements, and standardize processes across operations. You will oversee cycle counts, reconciliations, and reporting while partnering with Procurement, Finance, and IT to strengthen controls.

The role requires a strong background in inventory management within healthcare, advanced Excel and BI tools, and the ability to train teams and support audits. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in a related field.
• Experience managing inventory in healthcare or pharmacy operations.
• Experience leading physical inventories and reconciliations.
• Strong Excel, data analysis, and familiarity with BI tools.
• Ability to perform root-cause analysis from operational data.

Responsibilities

• Lead inventory control programs across pharmacy operations, including physical inventories, cycle counts, reconciliations, and discrepancy investigations.
• Analyze inventory data to identify root causes and reduce adjustments, write-offs, expired products, excess inventory, and shrink.
• Establish standardized processes for receiving, put-away, inventory movement, dispensing, returns, transfers, quarantine, and disposition.
• Monitor inventory accuracy, days on hand, inventory turns, expirations, and other KPIs.
• Build dashboards and reports that highlight inventory risks, trends, and exceptions.
• Partner with Pharmacy Operations, Procurement, Supply Chain, Finance, Compliance, Data, Product, and Engineering to strengthen inventory controls.
• Develop standard operating procedures and training materials for inventory processes.
• Improve inventory systems and automate manual controls and reporting.
• Lead and train inventory team members while establishing clear performance measures.
• Support audits, new pharmacy locations, system implementations, and operational expansions.
