Job summary

Kenco Logistics is seeking a proactive Quality leader to direct the quality division within our logistics operation. You will supervise a small team, drive continuous improvement, and maintain strong customer relationships to ensure top-tier quality performance.

You will implement lean, Six Sigma initiatives, manage inventory control, and collaborate with operations to optimize reports and processes across the distribution network.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in management, logistics, or engineering.
• 7–10 years in logistics or manufacturing management.
• Six Sigma and Lean experience preferred.
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
• Knowledge of ISO9000 quality processes.

Responsibilities

• Directs and coordinates activities of the quality division to achieve optimum quality performance.
• Reports quality performance and manages quality associates and supervisors.
• Develops supervisors and manages customer relationships.
• Maintains Inventory Control Plan and monitors control measures.
• Reviews weekly adjustments and cycle bin moves.
• Ensures accuracy of daily operational reports and staff scheduling.
• Leads Safety First – Lean Culture and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Works with customer to develop partnership.
• Conducts weekly Inventory Control meetings with leadership team.
• Executes the cycle count program related to the Physical Inventory Exemption.
• Prepares documentation of processes with GMI operations.
