Job summary

Kenco Logistics is seeking a Quality Director to lead the quality division within our logistics operation. You will report on quality performance, supervise quality associates, develop supervisors, and nurture customer relationships while ensuring ISO9000 alignment and Lean initiatives.

Responsibilities include maintaining the Inventory Control Plan, driving cycle counts, enforcing standard work, and mentoring managers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in management, logistics, or engineering with 7–10 years’ logistics or manufacturing leadership experience.
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
• Six Sigma and Lean experience preferred; ISO9000 processes knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Directs and coordinates activities of the quality division to optimize quality performance.
• Report quality performance; supervise quality associates and develop supervisors.
• Maintain Inventory Control Plan; monitor cycle counts; review adjustments.
• Ensure accuracy of daily operational reports; lead weekly inventory control meetings.
• Mentor staff and lead Safety First – Lean culture; build customer partnerships.
• Investigate issues; enforce policies; delegate duties and drive continuous improvement.
