Job summary

North Coast, part of the Sonepar group, seeks an Inventory Control specialist to manage daily cycle counts, verify variances, and ensure accurate returns processing. You will leverage Eclipse and Excel to provide precise data, identify root causes, and propose corrective actions.

You will collaborate with sales, returns, and counter teams, maintaining end-of-month accuracy and supporting process improvements. A forklift certification and safety compliance are required.

Qualifications

• Commitment to 100% accuracy and doing tasks right the first time (DIRTFT).
• Proactive communication skills with clear oral and written updates.
• Strong organizational skills and reliable task follow-through.
• Team-oriented with excellent customer service abilities.
• Forklift certification within the first 5 days is expected.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily cycle counts and inventory variances with data reports in Eclipse/Excel.
• Audit and correct discrepancies across operations, including returns and credits.
• Process Returns, RMA/RGA, and coordinate with Sales Writers on restocks.
• Collaborate with the returns team and Counter Team to ensure timely returns.
• Maintain End of Month queues and respond to return-related inquiries.
