Job summary

North Coast Electric in Auburn, WA, seeks a Warehouse Inventory Specialist to manage daily cycle counts, correct variances, and process returns. You will use Eclipse and Excel, liaise with Sales Writers, and support the Returns team to ensure accurate credits and timely restocks.

You will uphold safety standards, mentor teammates, and seek continuous improvements in inventory accuracy and workflow efficiency. A fork-lift certification within 5 days is expected.

• Advanced knowledge of computer software including Word, Excel, Outlook, WMS (preferably Eclipse).
• Fluent in warehouse operations, inventory control, returns processes, and system workflows.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify discrepancies and recommend corrective actions.
• Self-starter with a quality-focused approach and willingness to improve the knowledge and skill level of self and others.
• Previous warehouse, inventory control, or returns experience preferred.
• Complete Forklift Operator/PIT Certification within the first 5 days.

Responsibilities

• Manage physical daily cycle counts and research/correct inventory variances using Eclipse and/or Excel.
• Audit, report, and correct discrepancies in inventory control and returns.
• Process Job Site Clean-up Returns, Daily Returns, and RMA/RGA processing.
• Communicate restock percentages and credits with Sales Writers.
• Collaborate with Returns team on Vendor/RGA issues requiring Inventory Control involvement.
• Support counters on timely, accurate returns of canceled orders.
• Keep End of Month queues clear and compliant with guidelines.
• Respond to return-related emails and inquiries promptly.
• Identify barriers to performance and help develop root-ccauses action plans.
• Provide guidance and training to associates to promote accuracy and process compliance.
• Assist with system enhancements and process improvements for inventory accuracy and efficiency.
• Maintain safety practices and operate PIT equipment as certified.
