Job summary

Sysco Northeast Rdc in California is seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Clerk to conduct cycle counts, verify bin labels, and investigate discrepancies to maintain inventory accuracy.

You will process damaged goods, recoup product, slot new items, and safely operate forklift equipment as needed, reporting issues to the Inventory Control Manager to help set pick slot minimums and maximums.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year of warehouse inventory experience.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
• Forklift training and safety certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled and immediate cycle counts.
• Verify inventory and maintain accuracy of bin labels.
• Research and resolve inventory discrepancies.
• Conduct routine aisle sweeps confirming empty locations.
• Process damaged and recoup product.
• Slot new items as required.
• Record product dimensions, sizes, and weight.
• Operate forklift/pallet jack/cherry picker as needed.
