Job summary

Kenco Group is seeking an Inventory Control Lead to coach and train a team of Inventory Clerks in our Washington warehouse. You will perform cycle counts, support audits, and ensure inventory accuracy while directing staff.

You will apply LEAN Six Sigma tools, conduct root-cause analyses, and coordinate with supervisors to resolve discrepancies. This role requires leadership experience and forklift operation ability; travel about 25%.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required and pass background check and drug screen.
• 2–4 years inventory/warehouse operations experience with 6 months of supervisory or leadership training in a distribution environment.
• Knowledge of Warehouse Inventory Management System preferred.
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach Inventory Clerks, assist with inventories and cycle counts to ensure accuracy.
• Direct inventory staff in completing work and ensure adherence to procedures and policies.
• Support root-cause analysis of discrepancies and use Lean Six Sigma tools to resolve issues.
• Safely operate equipment to move products and assist with stow consolidations as needed.
• Ensure ISO, FDA, and customer inspection readiness and report daily inventory metrics.
