Job summary

Kenco Logistics in Indiana seeks an Inventory Control Lead to coach Inventory Clerks, perform cycle counts, and drive inventory accuracy across the site. You’ll support the Supervisor, train teammates, and help ensure ISO/FDA readiness and safe material handling.

The role requires 2–4 years in inventory/warehouse operations, 6 months leadership, a high school diploma or GED, and a forklift license. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and strong problem solving are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred and able to pass a background check and drug screen.
• 2-4 years of inventory and/or warehouse/distribution operations experience.
• 6 months related leadership or supervisory experience and/or training.
• Licensed forklift operator or able to obtain license; basic computer skills incl. Excel.

Responsibilities

• Assist Supervisor with physical inventories and cycle counts to ensure accuracy.
• Direct inventory staff in completion of work and train teammates.
• Contribute to root cause analysis of discrepancies using LEAN Six Sigma tools.
• Support stow consolidations and maintain ISO/FDA readiness as needed.
