Job summary

Kenco Logistics is seeking a Warehouse Lead to coach and train warehouse associates across shipping/receiving, inventory, and general warehouse tasks. You will back up supervisors and ensure safety and regulatory compliance while optimizing daily operations.

You'll guide forklift operation, conduct PIT training and certifications, perform inspections, and help drive accuracy in inventory counts, reporting variances and maintaining a ready-to-work facility for SQFI, FDA, and customers.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; pass background check and drug screening.
• Minimum 2 years in warehouse/distribution operations and 6 months of leadership or supervisory experience or training in a distribution environment.
• Must be a licensed forklift operator or able to obtain a Forklift Operator license.

Responsibilities

• Coach and train warehouse associates and forklift drivers; provide backup to supervisor.
• Conduct EIP, performance, and maintenance observations.
• Safely operate powered industrial equipment to move products for distribution.
• Complete shipping/receiving paperwork per SOPs and regulatory agencies.
• Participate in inventory/cycle counts and report variances to leadership.
• Perform daily safety inspections per forklift Safety Checklist; ensure inspection readiness for SQFI, FDA, and customers.
• Review and analyze daily production reports; serve as backup to other warehouse roles.
