Job summary

Kenco Logistics in the United States is seeking an Inventory Control Lead to coach and lead Inventory Clerks. You will train teammates, conduct inventories, and support forklift operations while ensuring accuracy and adherence to Kenco Quality Management System guidelines.

The role emphasizes continuous improvement, problem solving with LEAN Six Sigma tools, and collaboration with supervision to resolve operational issues. Travel is modest and safety/compliance are priority.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required and able to pass background check and drug screen.
• 2–4 years of inventory/warehouse/distribution operations experience with 6 months leadership or supervisory experience.
• Warehouse Inventory Management System knowledge preferred.
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office, emphasis on Excel.
• Attention to detail is essential.
• Must be a licensed forklift operator or able to obtain license.

Responsibilities

• Assist Supervisor with physical inventories and cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Direct inventory staff and reinforce adherence to procedures and standard work.
• Communicate and address operational/customer issues as required.
• Conduct root cause analysis of inventory discrepancies using LEAN Six Sigma tools.
• Consolidate and report on quality hold product as applicable.
• Assist with stow consolidations to create space in the warehouse.
• Operate powered industrial equipment safely to move products for distribution.
