Job summary

Kenco Logistics is seeking a Warehouse Lead to coach and train warehouse teams, including forklift drivers. The role involves operating PIT equipment, maintaining safety standards, and assisting with inventory and paperwork to support distribution operations.

The ideal candidate has warehouse experience, leadership exposure, and a valid forklift license, with a commitment to accuracy and continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred and be able to pass a background check and drug screen.
• Minimum 2 years prior warehouse/distribution operations experience.
• 6 months experience related leadership or supervisory experience in a distribution environment.
• Must be a licensed forklift operator or be able to obtain a Forklift Operator license.

Responsibilities

• Coach and train warehouse associates and forklift drivers.
• Safely operate powered industrial equipment to move products/materials.
• Perform daily safety inspections and ensure facility readiness for SQFI, FDA, and customers.
• Complete shipping/tracking paperwork per SOPs and regulatory requirements.
• Assist with inventory/cycle counts and report variances to leadership.
• Serve as backup to supervisor and cover other warehouse duties as needed.
