Job summary

Tractor Supply Company is seeking an Inventory Control Specialist to manage receiving accuracy, inventory adjustments, and reconciliation for store operations. The role supports BOPIS/OMNI processes, verifies freight, and maintains compliance with company standards.

You will work with the Store Operations Manager to ensure accurate inventory, timely reporting, and safe operation of equipment, contributing to Legendary Customer Service and smooth store performance.

Qualifications

• Shipping/receiving experience preferred but not required.
• Retail experience and/or farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding knowledge strongly preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age or older and possess a valid driver’s license.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred, reading, writing, and counting skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
• Work varied hours, including nights, weekends, and overtime.
• Deliver Legendary Customer Service through GURA: Greet, Uncover, Recommend, Add Value.
• Operate forklift and complete propane inspections as required.
• Pull OMNI orders and support BOPIS/OMNI reconciliation.
• Receive Direct POs, DC freight, and transfers; manage loading/unloading.
• Stock, tag, and label freight; create Fill to Capacity picklists.
• Perform inventory adjustments and reconcile discrepancies per policy.
• Partner with Store Operations Manager on inventory control and compliance.
• Complete documentation and obtain certifications as needed.
