Job summary

Tractor Supply Company is seeking an Inventory Control Specialist to manage receiving accuracy, inventory adjustments, reconciliations, and compliance that support store operations. You will work with the Store Operations Manager to optimize processes and ensure Legendary Customer Service.

The role includes forklift operation, stock tagging, and daily reporting, with a focus on accuracy and a safe environment for teams and customers.

Qualifications

• Shipping/receiving experience preferred but not required.
• Retail experience and/or farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding knowledge is strongly preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age or older and possess a valid driver’s license.
• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred, but not required.
• Must read, write, and count accurately.

Responsibilities

• Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
• Fulfill varying shifts including nights and weekends.
• Deliver Legendary Customer Service using GURA: Greet, Uncover needs, Recommend solutions, Add value.
• Complete forklift and propane inspections and use as required.
• Pull OMNI orders in the morning and support BOPIS/OMNI reconciliation.
• Receive Direct POs and DC transfers; stage freight and unload trucks.
• Operate forklift, baler, and store equipment; assist customers.
• Complete all documentation accurately and timely.
