Job summary

Penske Truck Leasing is seeking a Maintenance Coordinator to manage branch inventory, process administration, and profitability. The role supports maintenance operations, vendor coordination, and service scheduling, with a focus on accurate inventory, timely parts delivery, and data-driven improvements.

Candidates should have strong Excel/Office skills, customer service experience, and the ability to work 2nd shift with potential holiday coverage.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; degree preferred.
• Interpersonal and relationship building skills with ability to collaborate with branch team members.
• Competent written and verbal communication skills.
• 2+ years in customer service and operations experience.
• 2+ years in service and parts department preferred.
• Agile and quick learner, collaborative and eager for continuous education.
• Advanced computer skills: Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is essential.

Responsibilities

• Oversee inventory productivity for branch(es) to support service and profitability.
• Maintain optimal inventory levels; place orders with Centralized Parts Ordering and ensure timely delivery.
• Receive, store, and track parts; update PartsNet; conduct cycle counts.
• Manage battery and tire inventories; ensure availability and specifications.
• Coordinate warranty items with warranty department and shipping timelines.
• Support Branch Financial Manager to improve branch performance and profitability.
