Job summary

Ascension Health in Nashville, TN is seeking an Interventional Radiology Technician to assist with imaging and interventional procedures. You'll help prepare patients, position them correctly, and support radiologists and PAs during complex vascular and nonvascular cases.

Role requires strict adherence to radiation safety protocols and the ability to perform angio and advanced imaging procedures. Sign-on bonus up to $10,000 is offered; full-time day shift with Ascension Saint Thomas West

• Follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines and monitor protocols and recommend updates or refinements as warranted.
• Able to perform all specialized imaging procedures such as angio, complex vascular and nonvascular interventional and therapeutic procedures, along with assisting the Radiologist/PA.

How you’ll make an impact in this role

• Assist with procedures and provide diagnostic aid by conducting organ or body scans on patients.

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American HeartAssociation or American Red Cross accepted required.

• One or more of the following required:

• Cardiographic Tech credentialed from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

• Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

Education:

• High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate'sdegree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
