Job summary

Genesis HealthCare System seeks an organized scheduler for Interventional Radiology to greet patients and coordinate procedures across multiple imaging modalities. You will verify demographics, schedule exams, and liaise with physicians and departments to ensure smooth patient flow.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Six months experience in a physician office, hospital or clinic environment.
• Excellent interpersonal, decision-making and problem-solving skills.
• Clear communication in speech and writing with strong customer service.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist patients, family members, physicians, staff and other customers.
• Schedule IR procedures for CT, IR, US, Nuc Med, Fluoro, MRI and Mammography.
• Obtain signed physician orders and enter data into the EMR.
• Coordinate care and authorizations with ordering physicians and departments.
