Job summary

AdventHealth in Florida seeks an organized front-desk scheduler for radiology and cardiology services. You will release films, schedule procedures, and coordinate with radiology teams to maintain smooth patient flow.

Must have an Associate degree or equivalent, and a current BLS certification. Strong communication and confidentiality are essential in this role at our DADE CITY facility.

Qualifications

• Associate degree preferred; high school diploma required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Experience in radiology services preferred.
• Ability to handle scheduling and patient check-ins.
• Knowledge of HIPAA and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Release radiology films and reports to patients or other facilities.
• Coordinate workflow for cardiology and radiology modalities.
• Monitor patient wait times and satisfaction.
• Schedule radiology and cardiology procedures.
• Communicate schedule conflicts with directors and radiologists.
• Prepare reservations and distribute monthly on-call schedules.
