Job summary

Bon Secours Mercy Health seeks an experienced Special Procedures and Cath Lab Technologist to assist licensed practitioners in fluoroscopic and interventional procedures. You will prepare, document medications and radiation exposure, and ensure sterile technique within hospital policies.

Qualifications

• ARRT or CCI certification required
• BLS required (preferred on hire; must obtain before direct patient care)
• ACLS and CV-Interventional/Radiography certifications preferred
• State licensure preferred (where allowed)

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic vascular lab exams using ultrasound and physiologic testing equipment.
• Prepare patients for procedures and explain steps to reduce anxiety.
• Contact referring physician for order clarification when needed.
• Use EMR to review patient data, enter reports, and document critical findings.
• Complete tasks promptly according to clinical urgency.
• Adhere to safety, infection control, and patient confidentiality policies.
• Perform non-invasive vascular exams at proficiency level.
• Understand vascular anatomy and correlate results with other procedures.
