Job summary

Mercy Health is seeking an experienced Special Procedures and Cath Lab Technologist to assist in fluoroscopic and interventional vascular procedures. You will prepare patients, maintain sterile technique, and document radiologic findings in the EMR.

Responsibilities include coordinating with physicians, following safety and policy standards, and performing nondiagnostic vascular exams. ARRT certification and BLS are required, ACLS preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Radiologic Technology preferred.
• ARRT or equivalent certification required/registered.
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist licensed practitioner in fluoroscopic and interventional vascular procedures.
• Prepare patients and obtain cooperation; explain procedures to minimize anxiety.
• Review patient info in EMR and document critical findings.
• Maintain sterile technique and radiation safety in accordance with policy.
• Communicate with referring physicians for order clarification when needed.
