Job summary

Fircrest Elementary School in Vancouver, Washington is seeking an Intervention Paraeducator to assist with instructional activities for students in a tutoring program.

The role supports the Academic Interventionist and Classroom Teacher, providing individualized and small-group instruction, data maintenance, and collaboration with staff. Part-time schedule exists with daily hours in the morning and early afternoon.

Qualifications

• AA degree or higher or ParaPro assessment score 461 or higher.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 72 quarter credits or 48 semester credits at 100 level+.

Responsibilities

• Assist in providing one-to-one and group instruction to students.
• Assist in establishing and maintaining a conducive learning environment.
• Maintain accurate data on student progress and assist in testing.
