Position is part-time with specific daily hours, 190 school days per year, and requires meeting WA paraeducator qualifications. State training is provided upon hire.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must meet one of: ParaPro score 455+, associate degree or higher, 72 quarter credits/48 semester credits, or completed Paraeducator Apprenticeship.
• If qualifications are not met, applicant will be screened out.
• Upon hire, state-required training will be completed.

Responsibilities

• Assist in supervising instructional activities for students under the teacher's guidance.
• Provide one-to-one and small-group instruction aligned with IEP goals.
• Maintain and record student progress data for progress toward goals.
• Help implement behavioral management strategies and organize instructional materials.
• Support students with bathroom, feeding, and assistive devices as needed.
