Job summary

Evergreen Public Schools is seeking an Intervention Paraeducator at Pioneer Elementary School in Vancouver, WA. 6.5 hours/day, 190 days/year, with a preference for Spanish bilingual candidates. Immediate start; grant funding contingent; duties focus on instructional support within the Federal Programs department.

Position involves one-to-one/small group tutoring, data tracking, tests, and collaboration with teachers, counselors, and administrators to promote academic and behavioral success.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Pass ETS ParaPro or PRAXIS with 455+ score or higher education credential.
• Associate degree or 72 quarter credits / 48 semester credits.
• Paraeducator Apprenticeship program completion acceptable.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one and small group instruction aligned to instructional goals.
• Assist in monitoring student progress and maintain data.
• Administer and score tests as assigned.
• Implement behavioral management strategies per intervention plan.
• Prepare instructional materials and collaborate with staff.
• Attend trainings and follow district procedures.
