Job summary

Evergreen Public Schools is seeking an Intervention Paraeducator to support instruction at Cascade Middle School in Vancouver, Washington. The role runs 4 hours daily (11:00 a.m.

- 3:00 p.m.) with extended hours on early-release days, and involves assisting in tutoring and interventions to help students achieve academic success. The position is contingent on grant funding with salary placement at the minimum of the salary schedule; eligibility includes ParaPro/ETS scores or college credits.

Qualifications

• AA degree or higher, the equivalent of two years of college or university.
• Passing ETS ParaPro Assessment (455+) or Praxis.
• Associate degree or higher from an accredited college or university.
• 72 quarter credits or 48 semester credits at 100 level or higher from an accredited college or university.
• Completed Paraeducator Apprenticeship Program (registered).

Responsibilities

• Assist in delivering instructional activities under supervision.
• Work with students individually or in small groups to support learning goals.
• Collaborate with administrators, teachers, and counselors in tutoring programs.
• Maintain accurate data on student progress and assist in recordkeeping.

Education

AA degree or higher, the equivalent of two years of college or higher

ETS ParaPro Assessment score 455+ (Praxis)
