The role involves ensuring accuracy, handling international export paperwork, and maintaining barcoding and inventory controls. Responsibilities include data entry for orders, packing lists, invoices, and shipping documents, plus regular communication with customers and vendors to ensure on-time deliveries.

Qualifications

• Six months to one year experience with order entry, shipping, warehousing procedures, and shipping parts for aerospace, aviation, or automotive industries.
• International shipping experience highly desired.
• Forklift certificate.
• Knowledge of BOLs and shipping carriers (e.g. freight brokers, FedEx, UPS).
• Experience with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Internet.

Responsibilities

• Verify and keep records on incoming and outgoing shipments.
• Create shipping lists and schedule truck pickups via UPS, FedEx, and Common Carrier.
• Prepare packing lists, invoices, and shipping documents.
• Assist with international export shipments documentation.
• Cycle count and reconcile inventory discrepancies.
• Operate forklift and locate inventory in stockroom.
• Print pick tickets and ensure on-time shipments.
• Communicate with internal personnel, customers and vendors.
