Gem-Pack Berries in Oxnard, CA is seeking a Shipping Coordinator to coordinate shipment orders, manage truck check-ins, and prioritize loading for on-time departures. You will troubleshoot shipping issues, process orders across platforms, and collaborate with sales, operations, and transportation teams.

The role requires strong Excel/Office skills, familiarity with shipping software (Famous, iTrade, Procurant, Google Sheets) and excellent communication to relay updates to carriers and vendors.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel) and fast typing.
• Experience with Famous software; familiarity with iTrade, Procurant and Google Sheets is a plus.
• Strong communication, attention to detail, and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Track and ensure trucks have been checked in.
• Monitor and update ETAs from prior shift; follow up on missing/delayed ETAs.
• Track inventory and communicate with dispatchers on load location and timing.
• Prioritize loading for on-time delivery (OTD).
• Coordinate, troubleshoot with Coolers on shipment delays.
• Relay updates to Transportation department with concise communication.
• Monitor emails and update internal/external vendors via Google Sheet tracker.
• Process shipped orders using various platforms.
• Record and report for customers on Recorder platforms.
• Process export paperwork to customers (Canada).
• Enter inbounds (Mexico) in Famous tracking and coordinate with sales.
• Check orders, input freight, compare Famous data with Google Sheet pricing.
• Communicate with carriers on freight pricing.
• Data and order entry in: ITrade, Procurant, OFX.
