Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 2+ years of experience in shipping or logistics operations.
• Uderstanding of domestic and international shipping processes.
• Knowledge of freight carriers, customs documentation, Incoterms, and export compliance.
• Good organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Verify and record incoming and outgoing shipments against bills of lading, invoices, and orders.
• Determine shipment method using knowledge of procedures, routes, and rates.
• Affix shipping labels and prepare containers.
• Assemble wooden or cardboard containers or select preassembled containers; insert items with spacers and padding.
• Nails covers on crates and binds containers with tape; affix shipping information.
• Unpack shipments, inspect for damages, and coordinate with shipper to resolve issues.
• Route items to departments.
