Job summary

REMPREX, LLC is hiring a Gate Service Representative at our Los Angeles intermodal facility. The role supports intermodal trucking operations by handling gate transactions, performing maintenance on AGS equipment, and ensuring safe, efficient service for clients.

You will diagnose system health, troubleshoot issues, and assist with installations and testing of new AGS components. A high school diploma and a valid driver’s license with a clean MVR are required, with extended hours possible in a

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Valid Driver’s License with a clean MVR.
• Demonstrated attention to detail and commitment to growth.
• Strong interpersonal skills and professionalism.
• Ability to analyze problems quickly in a high‑pressure environment.
• Basic computer orientation and MS Office literacy.
• Willingness to work extended or adjusted hours in a 24/7 operation.

Responsibilities

• Service, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on Automated Gating System (AGS) equipment and components.
• Survey, repair, and troubleshoot overall system health and performance.
• Proactively report on system specifications, operations, inventory needs, and site performance.
• Explain site health information and provide technical insight on system repairs to client management.
• Assist in testing new-generation AGS components and provide reliability reports to management.
• Assist with the install and commissioning of AGS equipment on site.
• Accurately process automated and manual gate transactions and enter data.
• Maintain a client work environment in REMPREX vehicles and facilities.
